Weekend Pigskin Roundup: North Cobb Comes from Behind to Win

Each week we'll take a look at what happened in football over the weekend in Kennesaw.

Pope 38, Kennesaw Mountain 21

suffered the same fate in week two as Pope’s week one opponent did – they couldn’t stop Greyhound quarterback Holland Frost.

Frost rushed for 142 yards and passed for another 227 against Kennesaw Mountain, one week after he torched Wheeler for three passing touchdowns and one rushing score. Frost’s target of the week was Myles Everett, who went over 200 yards receiving and caught three touchdown passes.

Williams had an 80-yard kickoff return and also caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Queen as North Cobb evened its record at 1-1.

Woodstock 20, Harrison 14

allowed two touchdowns and two field goals, and that was enough for Woodstock to claim the victory.

Woodstock quarterback Pryce Washington completed 10-of-14 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries to help spark the Woodstock offense.

Harrison got a touchdown run by C.J. Posey, who led the Hoyas with 52 yards on 12 carries.
