Woman Killed in Parking Lot Robbery: Cobb Police

A woman was killed on Saturday night in the course of an armed robbery in a south Cobb parking lot, police said.

Fabiola Zabaleta, 29, of Mableton, was shot in the parking lot of a Dollar General at 1391 Veterans Memorial Parkway at approximately 9:20 p.m., police spokesman Mike Bowman said. Zabaleta was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Witnesses gave police descriptions of three suspects and a possible getaway vehicle. Police are now searching for a black or Hispanic male standing 5’5” - 5’7” tall, 150 lbs., wearing a dark blue hoodie and armed with a silver handgun; a black or Hispanic male standing 5’5” - 5’7” tall, 140 lbs., wearing a red hoodie and armed with a handgun, and; a man driving a four door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.
