2 Women Sought In $10K Credit Card Fraud Case

Gwinnett Police need the public's help in identifing 2 women in connection to an identify fraud and financial transaction card fraud case.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – Gwinnett Police detectives need the public’s help in identifying two women in connection to an identify fraud and financial transaction card fraud case.

On May 28, criminals smashed the window of a parked vehicle in a church parking lot in Lawrenceville. The victim’s purse and its belongings were stolen, totaling more than $1,200, according to police. Shortly after the theft, the victim’s credit card was used at two different Kroger stores in the Lawrenceville area by a woman who was caught on camera (Suspect 1). The fraudulent charges totaled over $1,000.

On May 29, another woman caught on camera (Suspect 2) goes into a Wells Fargo in the Alpharetta area and commits identity fraud and withdraws more than $9,300 from the victim’s account.

Suspect 1 is described as having black hair, wearing a black tank top, white shorts, and dark colored flip flops. Suspect 2 is described as having long, straight, light brown hair, with crooked and/or gapped teeth.
