LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — It's hard to believe that school has been back in session for almost a month in Gwinnett County.
With Labor Day come and gone, and things really getting cranked up in the classroom, here are five important dates to keep in mind for the next few months of the 2016-17 Gwinnett County Public Schools calendar:
- September 28-29: Early release, elementary and middle schools
- October 10: Teacher planning. (student holiday)
- November 8: Election Day (student/teacher holiday)
- November 21-25: Thanksgiving break
- December 21: End of first semester
