6 Gwinnett Students Accused Of 'Sexual Misconduct'

LILBURN, GA — Six students at a Gwinnett County high school are facing disciplinary action for "sexual misconduct."

Gwinnett County Public Schools spokeswoman Sloan Roach said the students, at Parkview High School, snuck off of campus and then returned. In these situations, students are typically suspended until a disciplinary panel can meet, she said.

According to WSB-TV, multiple students at the school, in Lilburn, were saying that the students involved in the incident were athletes at the school. School officials would not confirm that detail Tuesday morning.

Roach noted that the incident is a disciplinary matter, not a criminal one.
