63-55, Central Gwinnett Falls to South Gwinnett in Dome
Black Knights and Comets each gain more than 600 yards in high-scoring game.
Both the South Gwinnett Comets and the piled up more than 600 yards of total offense each in a back-and-forth high-scoring affair in the Georgia Dome, with South Gwinnett coming away with a 63-55 win.
The game's outcome came down to the final play. With Central Gwinnett on South's 15-yard line, Central quarterback Emmanuel Westmoreland was sacked to secure the win for the Comets.
The tone for the game was set early on, as South took the opening kickoff and scored on its second play from scrimmage, with L.J. Gainey converting a pass from Mason Hart into a 42-yard touchdown.

Central Gwinnett responded with an opening drive of their own, with Westmoreland finding Malachi Jones on a 28-yard touchdown pass to even the score at seven.
The game saw four ties and seven lead changes.
