911 Communications Officer

Gwinnett County is hiring for this full-time position

 

Gwinnett County is currently seeking a 911 Communications Officer to work in the Police Services department. This person will answer 911 calls from the public for the police, fire and emergency medical services. They will give live saving and pre-arrival instructions to callers in emergency situations. The officer will be required to operate a computers, radios and phones simultaneously. 

A high school diploma or GED is required. Two years experience in a fast paced business customer service or telecommunications environment is preferred.
