Robert “Bobby” Campbell, 58, of Monroe, formerly of Snellville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Julie Campbell of Monroe; son, Benjamin and Teresa Campbell of Monroe; daughter, Kristina and Joe Bradford of Loganville; parents, G. Wendell and Margaret Campbell of Peachtree City; brothers, Don Campbell of Atlanta, Darrell and Teresa Campbell of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Wanda and Todd Washowich of Woodstock; grandson, Colin James Bradford; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and in-laws, Jimmy and Jeanne Owen of Clarkston.
Mr. Campbell was a longtime member of Church of the Redeemer. He was an ordained deacon and “exuberant” usher. He was retired from Georgia Power, Metro Trouble Services Division after 37 years of dedicated service. Bobby was an avid gardener and loyal Dawg fan, who loved spending time with his grandson and sharing God’s word. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 1PM at Church of the Redeemer, Snellville, with Pastor John Byerly officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2011 from 6PM until 8PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
