LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – A Duluth man, with a 333 tattoo on his face, has been arrested and charged with one count of criminal attempt to commit robbery after police say he used a silver handgun to demand $300 from employees at the QuikTrip at 1055 Old Peachtree Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Dec. 16.

Kennedy Kurtz, 21, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail Jan. 14. Following the publication of the original media release on Dec. 21, 2017, the lead detective assigned to the case began to receive tips about the possible identity of the robbery suspect. After conducting follow-up, Kurtz was arrested and charged.

Employees at the QuikTrip told police that a light-skinned Hispanic or white male approached them and told them he was robbing the store and needed $300, according to the police. He held a silver handgun in his right hand. The employees told the suspect that they didn't have access to any cash and the suspect left without anything.
