Body Found In Lake Believed To Be Missing Gwinnett Man: Police
A body recovered from the lake at Tribble Mill Park is believed by police to be a Grayson Korean man who was reported missing on Jan. 1.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A body recovered from the lake at Tribble Mill Park is believed by police to be a Grayson Korean man who was reported missing on Jan. 1. The lake is located at 2125 Tribble Mill Parkway in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
The Gwinnett County Police Department believes the body belongs to Yun Seoung Park, 54, because the body was recovered in the lake near where Park's vehicle was recovered.
According to police, on Jan. 3, a vehicle was located by a fisherman in the lake at Tribble Mill Park. Officers and detectives determined that the vehicle found in the lake belonged to Park. Immediately after his vehicle was located, officers began a ground search and a Gwinnett police helicopter was called in to conduct an air search.

On Jan. 5, the Hall County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team and rangers from the Department of Natural Resources searched the lake at Tribble Mill Park and a body was found. The body was recovered from in the lake in close proximity to where the vehicle was recovered.
Authorities are waiting on confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office that the body belongs to Park. The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner. The family has been notified.

Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
