Can You Help Catch This Burglary and Fraud Suspect?
Gwinnett County Police say the man stole a purse and wallet from two parked vehicles in Lawrenceville. A Waffle House employee reported him.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect in a recent burglary and fraud case.
On April 4, police say an unknown man entered the garage of a home on Azalea Drive in Lawrenceville and stole a purse and wallet from two parked vehicles.
Video surveillance shows the man making purchases at a QuikTrip at 3:30 a.m., at a Waffle House around 5 a.m. and then a Wal-Mart. All three businesses are on Buford Drive.

A Waffle House employee told police that the man had talked about getting into a fight with his family and had visible marks on his arm and a black eye.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing eyeglasses, 20-25 years old, standing about 5'8" and weighing between 200-250 pounds. He has brown hair and was wearing a navy-colored Washington Nationals t-shirt, baggy black pants and dark shoes.

Anyone with information to share in the case is asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters may contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit the Crime Stoppers website.
They may also text a tip to “Crimes” (274637). Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
