Death Penalty Withdrawn In Gwinnett Double Murder Case
The death penalty motion for Ki Song Kim, on trial for murder, has been withdrawn by the Gwinnett County DA's Office.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The death penalty motion for Ki Song Kim, on trial for murder, has been withdrawn by the Gwinnett County DA's Office, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Kim, 49, is charged with two counts each of murder and aggravated assault and the death penalty motion was withdrew because Kim agreed to a stipulated bench trial, the newspaper reported. Kim brutally killed Young Chan Choi, 63, and Sun Hee Choi, 59, in their Duluth home in 2013.
Kim reportedly beat and stabbed the couple multiple times. Young Chan Choi died from a stab wound to the heart and Sun Hee Choi bled out after her throat was slashed, severing two main arteries and her larynx.
