Drug Deal Gone Bad Results In Murder Charges For Atlanta Woman
An Atlanta woman has been arrested by Lawrenceville Police and charged with murder in a 'drug deal gone bad' on Jan. 22.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – An Atlanta woman has been arrested by Lawrenceville Police and charged with murder in an interaction Jan. 22 that Capt. Greg Vaughn called a 'drug deal gone bad,' according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Eugene Cary Singletary, 53, was shot in the parking lot of the Villa Inn and Suites motel in Lawrenceville around 11 p.m. He was declared dead at a local hospital. In addition to murder, Kelly Elizabeth Sanders, 28, is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Police are searching for Chaz Conley, who is believed to be the one who shot Singletary, Vaughn told the AJC.
