An Early Preschool Teacher With a Passion for Nurturing Children

Primrose School of Five Forks honors Ms. Drain as the Apple of Our Eye!

Ms. Drain is the Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool 2 class. She joined our Primrose family in September of this school year.

Ms. Drain was born in Long Beach, California and moved to Riverside, CA with her mother, father, and two brothers, Dennis (21) and Dylan (9). She attended LaSierra Academy through middle school and graduated from LaSierra High School. She attended Cal State University Long Beach for a year and a half before moving to Georgia, where she received her Associates in Social Work from Georgia Perimeter College. Ms. Drain looks forward to continuing her education and earning her Bachelor’s Degree.

Ms. Drain has always had a passion for children and describes herself as having a “very mothering spirit.” In high school she volunteered at her local park, where she helped with after-school care, homework, and fun activities. She began babysitting at the age of twelve. Once she moved to Georgia, she volunteered at her church and still works with the nursery ministry. She started teaching four years ago and has loved every moment.

In her free time enjoys shopping as a stress reliever, reading, playing basketball, and pizza! In her spare time, she continues to volunteer at her church and help those in need whenever possible. When she’s not volunteering, she also enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family and friends.

Congratulations to Ms. Drain!
