GCPL 'Meet the Author' Event Featuring Carolyn McKinstry, Survivor and Civil Rights Activist

The GCPL will host a "Meet the Author" series event on Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Suwanee Branch.

Survivor and civil rights activist Carolyn McKinstry will be present to offer a personal account of the Civil Rights movement as it progressed nationwide during her lifetime.

McKinstry is the author of "While the World Watched: a Birmingham bombing survivor comes of age during the civil rights movement."
