Nutcracker Casting Call at Gwinnett Ballet Theatre

Gwinnett Ballet Theatre will be holding a Casting Call on Saturday, September 22, for young dancers interested in taking part in the 31^st annual holiday production of GBT’s The Nutcracker. This year’s production will take place in the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center from November 30 through December 16. Rehearsals will begin immediately.

Young dancers who wish to participate must come to the casting call per the schedule below which is based on age:

Ages 4 and 5 at 2:30

Ages 6 and 7 at 3:00

Ages 8, 9 and 10 at 3:30

Ages 11 and 12 at 4:00

Ages 13 and up at 4:30

This event will be held under the direction of Wade Walthall, GBT’s Artistic Director. Young dancers selected to be in the Nutcracker must be registered students at
the GBT School, and there is a production fee associated with participation. Dancers interested in being a part of the Nutcracker who are not currently registered are welcomed to attend. Registration for classes is available that
day.
