Families at the Heart of Our Program
Celebrate with the Dietsch family, our Family of the Month

Aaron and Jennifer are the proud parents of Ada and Samantha, in our Preschool 2 and Preschool Pathways classrooms. They have a Pug named Maggie and a Bassett Hound named Lucy.
The Dietschs are road warriors and like to travel. They spend a good deal of time visiting family in Michigan, Florida, Illinois, and South Dakota. The girls particularly like spending time at the beach and in the water.
The Dietsch family is very active. When it is warm, they go swimming and play at the parks. When the weather is uncooperative, they enjoy playing Legos and Playdoh inside. Ada is a tinkerer and enjoys figuring out how things work by taking them apart and putting them back together. Sammi is a singer and dancer. She can turn anything into a microphone and any moment of attention into a performance!

Ada is more of a tomboy and never would wear dresses or play with dolls. Because of this, Sammi was never really exposed to princesses. At about 18 months old, the family was walking around Target getting diapers and Sammi started yelling, “Mine, mine, mine!” When her mom turned around, Sammi was undressed and pointing at a Princess Belle dress. She wore the dress home and has hardly come out of tulle since that day.
The Dietsch family shares their Primrose experience: “Our first daughter, Ada, was speech delayed and at 19 months our pediatrician suggested entering her into school for socialization. We also started speech therapy that month. Within 6 months Ada had made great strides in communication and behavior. We were amazed at how fast she was learning and thriving in the structure at Primrose. Ada was discharged from speech therapy after 10 months. While we think the therapy helped her process information, we believe it was the well-structured curriculum at Primrose that truly got her caught up.”
