A Family Involved in Building a Love of Learning
It's a joy to honor the Robinsons…the Family of the Month

Micah and Erika are the proud parents of Harrison and Austin, students in the Private Pre-K 1 and Explorer classes. The Robinsons have been a part of our Primrose family for nine years. Micah and Erika met in 1996 while working for Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting. Erika worked in HR and Micah was a field audio technician on multiple sites. The rest, as they say, is history.
The Robinsons have lots of hobbies and a wide variety of interests. Micah loves to play guitar, produce music, and play poker with friends. He has recorded both solo and independently released albums with various bands. He has also composed scores for independent feature documentaries, including one for The Atlanta Zoo featuring the panda Xi Lan. In the mid-2000s, Micah co-starred and Co-produced a local access movie review TV show. Erika, at one point, was a hobby breeder of chinchillas. She is a naturally curious and creative person who loves the arts, from painting to listening to music. Harrison is an all-around athlete who plays basketball and baseball and loves to read and explore. Austin is the singer and his father’s musical sidekick. He’s played soccer and will begin peanut baseball in the spring. He is also artist like mom. Austin’s favorite thing in whole world is being little brother to Harrison. He is his favorite person and loves to spend time with him. The Robinsons love summer festivals in the city, movies, and sports activities. They are also foodies. They love to experience other cultures and are happy to eat their way around the world. The whole family enjoys trying new foods, from roasted pig head tacos to Bahn Mi sandwiches.
The Robinson family motto is “Keep Moving Forward” which they have adopted from the aptly named film, Meet the Robinsons.

Robinson Family Testimonial
“Our love for the school has developed over time. We’re celebrating our 9th year at the school and we are so thrilled to have had so much dedication, love, and loyalty to our kids. Primrose Five Forks have more than proven themselves. I visited all of the child care providers in the area, but Primrose gave us a great first impression. I remember Jeanne and Kelly greeting us at the door, and Jeanne asked Erika, “Are you getting back to work?”

It felt right. Interestingly enough, we didn’t have a clue about Primrose’s reputation as leaders in education, so all of those benefits were added bonuses.
The teachers, curriculum, and program prepared our oldest son, Harrison, to thrive in public school starting with first grade. He learned to focus his mind and control his classroom conduct; I attribute his success to the early childhood education he received from Primrose. The teachers are wonderful from Mrs. Latif to Mrs. Surma to Mrs. Kase to name a few. Austin is following the same track, and we are very pleased with his progress.
Primrose has been an excellent educational partner. Austin and Harrison love to read. Harrison is in second grade and he has already read 450 and 740-page Harry Potter books. He’s just very recently been asked to test for his school’s Gifted Program.
What else can we say? Their constant tutelage, caring, and dedication has helped our children blossom at school and at home. We’re truly thankful that we’re blessed enough to be part of the Primrose family.”
Congratulations to the Robinson Family!
