Fasting to Feed 2019

The ninth month of the Islamic calendar is Ramadan. This is a holy time when over one billion Muslims around the world fast and focus their attention on doing good works and giving to charity. According to the lunar calendar followed by Muslims, Ramadan in 2019 starts on or around May 6th and will finish on or around June 5th.

Humanity First, USA is a non-profit organization and has launched “Fasting to Feed” campaign for the month of Ramadan. With a vision to make our country hunger free, the Food Security program in the USA seeks to reduce hunger and food wastage, provide food to our communities and raise awareness.

During this month we can realize the pain experienced by millions of starving fellow human beings who are not fortunate enough to sit together, eat, and enjoy due to sickness and poverty. For them every day starts with the same thought that how they are going to survive within the limited resources they have. I request everyone to share the joy of this holy month and donate. Our supporters from other religions can also try to experience a fast or skip a meal and donate that small amount to feed children, mothers, and elders who are suffering because of hunger in America.

OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $100,000 TO FEED OUR FELLOW AMERICANS.
