Fire Severely Damages Lawrenceville Home

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County firefighters were on the scene Monday morning of a blaze that severely damaged a home in Lawrenceville.

The fire was on the 1400 block of Sir Knights Way. Crews were dispatched at 9:15 a.m.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control, but not before it caused what they called heavy damage to part of the house.

Two occupants were home at the time of the fire, but escaped unharmed. There were no other injuries reported.

The exact cause of the Monday blaze remained under investigation.
