First BurgerFi in Lawrenceville Opens Monday
The franchise location is owned by two brothers, ages 25 and 21.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — One of the nation's fastest-growing burger chains has come to Gwinnett County.
BurgerFi opened its doors for business Monday at 11 a.m. The restaurant is located at 938 Duluth Hwy., a few miles away from Gwinnett Medical Center and Georgia Gwinnett College.
The fast-casual chain location, know for its all-natural burgers, is owned by Shahravi Lakhani, who's just 25 years old, and his brother Hasnain, who is 21.

The brothers are new to the restaurant scene, but say they are foodies and entrepreneurs at heart.
"We are excited to introduce Gwinnett County to our unrivaled better burger offerings in a fun, family dining experience," said Lakhani. "We look forward to eventually expanding our footprint and bringing our modern twist to great-tasting food to other surrounding communities as well."

The 2,600-square-foot restaurant has a seating capacity for about 60 patrons inside their dining room and patio seating for 30. The space also features various eco-friendly elements including:
- Picnic and four-top tables made from more than 700,000 recycled milk jugs
- chairs made of 111 recycled Coca-Cola bottles
- Wood panel walls made from the monst renewable timber available — No. 2 southern pine
- A 10-foot fan to save on energy needed for cooling
- 100 percent recycled paper countertops
- 100 percent energy-efficient LED lighting
BurgerFi’s offerings feature "chef-driven" menu items, including their made-in-house VegeFi burger, Vienna hot dogs with all the fixings, fresh hand-cut fries and onion rings served with housemade sauces, frozen custard, natural sugar cane sodas, and a variety of craft burgers.
The Lawrenceville location will serve lunch and dinner Monday thru Sunday. Its hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
