GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – A former Gwinnett County band director was denied bond Thursday after being charged with 20 counts of sexual assault reportedly impregnating an ex-student. The charges come from alleged sexual relationships with four South Gwinnett High School students and one in North Carolina.
Villie Jones, 44, had a relationship with a student in North Carolina that resulted in a child, Assistant District Attorney Matt Acuff said in court Thursday, according to The Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The sexual assault charges come from students who were female members of the school band, which he directed, the newspaper reported.
