Free Lifeguard Classes Available Through Gwinnett Parks And Rec
The training is available for those wishing to apply for a lifeguard position at any of the county's year-round aquatic facilities.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation is offering free lifeguard training to anyone interested in applying to work at the county's year-round aquatic facilities. The offer is only available for a limited time, according to officials, as December classes start soon.
The American Red Cross blended learning course incorporates online learning and in-person water, first aid and CPR/AED skills training. Pay for part-time lifeguards starts at $9.27 to $15 per hour.
