'Good Samaritan' Shot Three Times After Women Flagged Him Down
The Lawrenceville incident happened Thursday afternoon.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A Gwinnett County man was shot three times Thursday after being flagged down by two women who claimed to need help.
Gwinnett County Police are looking for help identifying the two women who flagged down the 41-year-old victim in the area of Lawrenceville Highway and Davis Mill Court.
The incident happened Thursday between noon and 1 p.m.

According to police, when the man stopped, the two women "acted as though they were in distress and needed help."
The women lured the man behind a town home on Davis Mill Court, where he was confronted by at least three teens — one of whom was armed with a handgun and demanded he empty his pockets.

Immediately after the demand, the suspect shot the victims three times and ran away.
Detectives are asking members of the public to come forward if they know the identity of the two women or three male teens.
According to a police news release, the victim is in stable condition at Gwinnett Medical Center and is expected to live.
