Gwinnett Candidates Forum Set For Thursday
The nonpartisan gathering of candidates for state and local office will be at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A Gwinnett County forum for candidates in the upcoming election has been scheduled for Thursday.
Sponsored by several community group, the forum will be held at 6:30 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, at 422 E. Crogan St. in Lawrenceville.
The purpose of the forum, according to a news release, is to give Gwinnett voters a chance to hear candidates discuss the issues important to them in the election. The event is free and open to the public.

The nonpartisan forum will be moderated by former Snellville Mayor Kelly Kautz.
Candidates have been invited from races including: Georgia House District 81, Georgia House District 96, Georgia House District 101, Georgia House District 102, Georgia House District 105, Georgia House District 108, Gwinnett County Board of Commission Chairman and Gwinnett County Board of Commission District 3.

The forum is presented by New Jerusalem Baptist Church, the Ebony Society, Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Raising Empowered Voices Uplifting People, Inc.
