Gwinnett County Post Offices With Late Tax Day Hours

Duluth, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Norcross and Suwanee are among locations with extended post office hours on April 18, 2016.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Twenty-six metro Atlanta post offices, including several in Gwinnett County, will be open past 5 p.m. on Monday, April 18, to accommodate last-minute tax filers.

This year, the government will consider any tax return mailed with an April 18 postmark to have been filed on time.

In Gwinnett, the post offices with extended hours on Tax Day are:

Duluth -- Boggs Road Postal Store, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Lawrenceville -- Crogan St., 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Lawrenceville -- Lawrenceville North, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Lilburn Post Office -- 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Norcross - Peachtree Corners Branch -- 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Suwanee Post Office -- 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

None of those look late enough? Well, don't give up hope. There are options for even the very latest of the tax-day procrastinators to file on time. And Gwinnett County is home to one of them.

The Postal Store at 1605 Boggs Rd. in Duluth is open for retail services until 7 p.m., but has a 24-hour self-service kiosk, which will take drop-offs until midnight.

And the Atlanta Main Post Office, at 3900 Crown Rd., will be open 6 a.m.-midnight on Monday and staffed to provide retail services and collect returns until midnight.
