Police say the suspect panicked and ran away when a clerk sounded an alarm.
Police are looking for help identifying a man who walked into a Wells Fargo bank and tried to rob it, only to run away when the clerk sounded an alarm.
On December 8 at about 1 p.m., the man walked into the Wells Fargo at 3065 Lawrenceville Hwy. in Lawrenceville. He approached the front counter and handed the clerk a note, saying he had a gun and was robbing the bank.
As she looked at the note, the man told her in Spanish that he had a gun and to hurry up.

Instead, the teller activated the panic alarm and stood next to her drawer.
The alarm must have worked. The suspect panicked, snatching a patron’s purse as he ran out the door.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 25-35, standing about 5-foot-4 and weighing between 165-175 pounds.
He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan boots.
