LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A prosecutor in the Gwinnett County District Attorney's office has been arrested as part of a prostitution sting in neighboring DeKalb County.

Assistant District Attorney Christopher Quinn, 46, of Alpharetta, turned himself in Wednesday and has been charged with pandering and violation of Georgia's felony racketeering statute, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Quinn was one of eight people arrested as part of an operation that included a New Year's Day sting. Police told the AJC a high-end escort service was operating out of an apartment across the street from the Dunwoody Police headquarters.

Porter said Quinn works in the appeals section of the DA's office, where he's been employed for about four years after retiring from the Fulton County DA's office.
