Renita Hamilton announces candidacy for Lawrenceville City Council

After moving to Gwinnett County in 1992 with my parents as a teenager that I knew this county would be my permanent home. From an early age I knew that community involvement was and is my passion. I feel a great sense of ease when it comes to getting things done. It has been my pleasure to advocate, for all communities; to bring about positive and effective change in order to improve, increase value, enhance the quality of life and encourage awareness to community based issues and concerns.

By listening to you, my neighbor, I can and will be a voice so that your ideas are heard.

Civic responsibility is forged through my multiple affiliations with organizations dedicated to producing leaders and fostering community empowerment.

Having served on various councils and acting as community liaison for the multiple organizations, representing you and your interest is the number one priority. My family, friends, supporters and I believe that with the my natural leadership ability we together can create the best representation for Families, Jobs, and Education.

As a mother, business owner, and community advocate I am actively engaged in the overall progression of communities, including our neighborhoods, public and school safety, economic development and excellence in quality of life for all, I humbly ask for your support. As we partner together to ensure the legacy this great county has come to be known for across the country.

You and I together will create the future of our city and I will be very proud to represent you. While I may be just an ordinary swim team mom, I will work my heart out in the trenches because I am truly committed to working together and finding solutions to our problems.
