Home Invasion Caught On Video, 1 Charged With Murder: WATCH
One suspect has been arrested and another is at large after a 2016 home invasion where the homeowner shot and killed 1 of the 3 robbers.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — One suspect has been arrested and another is at large after a 2016 home invasion where the homeowner shot and killed one of the three men who kicked in her front door for a robbery, according to police.
Bernard Eugene Little, 35, of Atlanta, was arrested March 29 and charged with felony murder and armed robbery.
Even though Little did not shoot anyone, the Gwinnett County Police Department points to the Georgia code that states, “A person commits the offense of murder when, in the commission of a felony, he or she causes the death of another human being irrespective of malice.”

Gwinnett County Police deputies are still seeking the identity of the other intruder and are looking for tips in this case. If anyone knows who he is, they are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 404 577-8477. Tipsters may receive a cash reward.

Gwinnett County Police released video clips from home surveillance that captures the home invasion and shooting as it unfolded. All three suspects are armed in the video.
The intruder who was shot, according to police, was 28-year old Antonio Leeks, of Atlanta.
Shortly before 4 a.m., Sept. 16, 2016, police responded to the 3500 block of Spring Drive in Atlanta. The homeowner told police she heard someone entering the home. She got her handgun, finding at least three men coming through the front door. She began firing and struck at least one man in the torso, killing him. At least one of the other two men began exchanging gunfire with the homeowner as they fled the scene, according to police.
No charges were filed against the homeowner.
