Did you know only about half (49%) of all Americans floss daily? Flossing is nearly as important to your oral health as brushing your teeth. Flossing removes plague and particles of food that the toothbrush cannot reach. When flossing is overlooked plague builds up between the teeth and can result in tooth decay and gum disease. We recommend to floss daily to help maintain excellent oral health.
1. Use about 18in of floss and wrap around each of your middle finders leaving 1 to 2 inches of floss in between.
2. Holding the floss tightly between your index finder and thumbs slide up-and-down gently between your teeth.

3. Curve the floss around the base of the tooth to floss beneath the gumline. Make sure to be gentle around the gumline and not to force the floss into the gums.
4. When moving from tooth to tooth, make sure to use a clean section of the floss.
