Infant in Day Care Suffers Concussion in Fall From Highchair: Report
She's being treated at a local hospital; the incident was caught on surveillance camera, says TV station.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- State officials are investigating how an infant sustained a concussion this week at a local day care center, an Atlanta TV station reported.
Karissa Moon, 11 months old, is being treated at the Gwinnett Medical Center after she fell out of a highchair at the Meliora School, WSB-TV Channel 2 reported. Her parents have filed a police report about the incident.
Karissaβs parents told Channel 2 that she has been vomiting and having trouble sleeping, and they may not know the extent of her injuries for months.

The infant had not been strapped in to the highchair at the time of the fall, which was captured on the schoolβs surveillance cameras, according to the ABC affiliate.
The Meliora School's director told WSB-TV that the school follows Georgia's guidelines for securing infants in highchairs. But Karissa's mother, Keyatta Smith, said her daughter had not been strapped in properly.
