Lawrenceville Boy Stabbed, In Stable Condition

Anatolii Balesta, 19, was charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the 1st degree in connection with the case.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A 4-year-old boy is in stable condition after Gwinnett police say he was stabbed around 8 a.m. Sunday.

Officers responded to Lewis Ridge Circle, where they say they found the child with a stab wound to his abdomen.

Anatolii Balesta, 19, has been charged with aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the 1st degree in connection with the case, police said.
