Lawrenceville Grass Fire Damages 6 Homes, Wooden Fence
No one was injured or displaced due to the Springbottom Drive fire, according to the fire department.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Fire investigators in Gwinnett County are asking for the public's help in determining the circumstances that led to a grass fire damaging six Springbottom Drive homes Sunday afternoon.
According to Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services, crews responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Springbottom around 4:30 p.m.
Fire officials said a large grass fire damaged the outside siding on six homes and a wooden privacy fence on a seventh home.
