Lawrenceville Police Say Man Shot Girlfriend
Police are seeking Anh Bui, 40, who is accused of shooting the woman in the thigh during a fight.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Lawrenceville Police were searching Wednesday for a man they said shot his girlfriend during a fight.
Anh Bui, 40, was accused of shooting the woman in the thigh at about 3 a.m., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The shooting happened in the 400 block of Coalville Drive, according to police.

Police Capt. Greg Vaughn told the paper that Bui pulled a semi-automatic handgun and shot the victim once in the left thigh before fleeing in a 2010 Toyota Venza, with the Texas tag BH2V536.
The victim was in surgery Wednesday morning.

Warrants have been issued for Bui's arrest on aggravated assault and cruelty to children charges. He is described as a Vietnamese male, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 160 pounds.
