Lawrenceville resident joins Atlanta-based national mortgage company

Michelle Cooke is new Loan Processor at PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Lawrenceville resident Michelle Cooke as a Loan Processor. She enjoys the always-evolving atmosphere of the mortgage industry, noting, “there is always more to learn.”

Cooke is experienced in mortgage servicing, having previously worked in loss mitigation and processing. Her industry experience includes time spent at Citi and at Sallie Mae. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Clark Atlanta University, and worked as a substance abuse counselor immediately after earning her degree.

She is an aspiring clothing designer, and purchased her first sewing machine three years ago. Cooke and her husband, who is her high-school sweetheart, have two children.
