Lawrenceville resident joins rapidly growing national mortgage company

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Lawrenceville resident Tony J. Rogers a Vice President and Mortgage Banker. He prides himself on product knowledge, customer service and problem solving.

“Tony is an active leader who partners with his clients 100 percent,” says Dan Smith, President of PrivatePlus.

The Tennessee native graduated from the City College of New York, and learned about hard work early: He received the first commendation ever given out by the restaurant where he worked. “That taught me a lot about hard work and accountability,” Rogers says.

He shares a recent milestone with his daughter. “One of her goals was to get a college scholarship, which she recently achieved,” he says, “and I also claim it as a milestone with her; it is one of my proudest moments.”

Away from work, Rogers is a charter member of Kiwanis of Decatur, serves as a volunteer coach with the YMCA supports cancer research, and enjoys reading and exercising. He and his family, including a “great wife,” a daughter in college, daughter in high school and a son in elementary school, reside in Lawrenceville.
