Lawrenceville Wreck Sends 2 to the Hospital
One of the drivers was unconscious when he was extricated, but he regained consciousness before being transported to GMC.

A Tuesday afternoon accident sent two people to the hospital, including a man who was unconscious when firefighters extricated him from his vehicle.
Gwinnett Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said crews responded at 2:04 p.m. to a report of an entrapment near Buford Drive and Hurricane Shoals Road in Lawrenceville. Crew found two vehicles were involved in the accident, with one driver pinned in the wreckage.
“Per the incident commander, this was a minor entrapment situation and the driver regained consciousness prior to transport to the hospital,” Rutledge said in a news release.

He was transported (emergency status) to Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville. His condition was not immediately known.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and also was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center.
