Loud Boom Heard During Lawrenceville House Fire
Report that people were trapped inside was unfounded.
For a time Monday morning, Gwinnett firefighters thought there may be people trapped in a house fire near Lawrenceville.
Told by neighbors that three people may inside the burning residence on Lockridge Lane, firefighters immediately entered with attack hoses to search.
“Crews conducted multiple searches and no victims were found to be inside,” Gwinnett Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said in an email. “It appears that no one was at the house when police and fire department units arrived and no injuries were reported.”
