Man Charged With Hit And Run In Deadly Lawrenceville Crash
The crash happened at 5:44 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Ga. 316 and Duluth Highway, Lawrenceville Police say.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A Forsyth County man is charged with hit-and-run and vehicular homicide after police say he killed a Gwinnett County man then tried to flee the scene.
The Sunday crash, at the intersection of Ga. 316 and Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville, killed Anthony McPherson, 26, of Buford. It happened at 5:44 a.m.
Michael Robert Branigan, 21, of Cumming, was driving a 2013 Ford Taurus. A police report from the Lawrenceville Police Department does not offer many details of the crash, saying merely that it remains under investigation.

McPherson was a passenger in a 2009 Toyota Camry being driven by another man.
Branigan has been charged with vehicular homicide, hit and run, failure to stop and render aid and following too closely.
