Man Choked, Killed Toddler and Mom in Buford, Police Say
BREAKING: A 2 year old boy and his mother were dead after the Buford attack which happened Sunday night, Gwinnett Police say.

BUFORD, GA — A Gwinnett County man is in jail, charged with choking to death a 2-year-old boy and his mother on Easter Sunday.
Brandon Williams, 32, of Buford had been charged with one count of felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault, Gwinnett County Police said early Monday. He will presumably face a second murder charge after the mother's death, which police announced later Monday morning.
The mother of the child, identified as 30-year-old Natalie Nation, had been in critical condition Monday morning at an area hospital where she died.

The incident happened Sunday night at about 11 p.m. on Tybee Drive in Buford. Police received a 911 call from the homeowner, saying that his son had choked a mother and child that lived at the house, then walked up the street to a gas station.
Williams was confronted by police at the gas station and arrested without incident. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where the baby died on Sunday.

Police say the attack happened while the homeowner was outside working on a car in the driveway. According to the homeowner, Nation was renting a room at the home and the child was her son.
There are no family ties between the suspect and the victims. Detectives Monday were still exploring a motive for the attack.
Williams was being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond. The victims' names were being held by police pending notification of family members.
