Police: Body Found at Hospital Believed To Be Suicide

Lawrenceville, GA -- Police in Lawrenceville say they believe a man found dead in the parking lot of Gwinnett Medical Center on Sunday died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police discovered the body Sunday morning in a car in a hospital parking deck. The victim appeared to have suffered from a single gunshot wound, police said.

On Monday, Lawrenceville Police Department Capt. Greg Vaughn said investigators are “looking at it as a suicide.”

The victim’s identity has not been released.
