Man Killed Under Street Sweeper In Lawrenceville
The victim is believed to be be the operator of the street sweeper who may have been trying to correct a mechanical issue.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A man was killed after being partially pinned underneath a street sweeper Thursday morning in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Police responded to the QuikTrip around 4:30 a.m. near Pleasant Hill Road and Club Drive, according to Channel 2, after a construction worker found the man under the vehicle.
Orlando Cepeda Hall, 47, was identified as the victim. Channel 2 reported that Hall is believed to be the operator of the street sweeper.

The street sweeper was still running when the worker found the man, Channel 2 said. It is believed that he was attempting to fix a mechanical issue when he became trapped.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified of the death.
