Man Robs QT, Victim In Parking Lot With Pocket Knife

Gwinnett police need the public's help to identify a man who used a pocket knife to rob a QT and a man in the parking lot.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A detective assigned to the Gwinnett County Robbery Unit needs the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect. On Tuesday, a man walked into the QuikTrip convenience store located at 1055 Old Peachtree Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

He pulled out a pocket knife and demanded money from the cash register. The employee was not able to give the suspect any money, so he left the store.

When the suspect got out into the parking lot, he approached the driver of a Jeep. When the driver of the Jeep rolled down his window, the suspect put the knife up to this throat and demanded money. The victim handed over a few hundred dollars. The suspect was last seen walking towards Dean Road.
