Man Wanted For Stabbing Victim 17 Times
The stabbing happened at 3 a.m. behind a karaoke bar in Lawrenceville, police say.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA β Gwinnett County Police are asking for help finding a man they say stabbed another man seventeen times during a fight behind a Lawrenceville karaoke bar.
Viet Dam, 20, of Chamblee, is suspected in the stabbing, which happened at about 3 a.m. on October 9.
Police were called to Paradise Karaoke, at 1455 Pleasant Hill Rd., to find a 35-year-old Snellville man who had been stabbed multiple times. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say detectives learned that the victim and suspect knew each other due to a previous relationship with a a woman. The two were at Paradise Karaoke and got into a fight which continued out into the parking lot, according to police.
The fight was captured on video surveillance. Police say the victim did not realize he had been stabbed in the fight until after the two men separated.

The victim has since checked out of the hospital and is continuing to recover from his wounds, police say.
