Shooting Leaves 2 Dead At Lawrenceville Home

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A man and woman died early Wednesday morning after a shooting at Woodington Circle, near Pleasant Hill Road and Club Drive, Gwinnett County Police said.

Officers responded to the Woodington home around 6 a.m., when they found the pair dead in the driveway, police said. Detectives believe that the shooting occurred around dawn, police said.

The shooting appears to be domestic-related between the man and woman, police said, adding no other suspects are thought to be involved. Their names have not been released, pending next-of-kin notification.

The Crime Scene Unit, District Attorney’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene.
