Kick off the Memorial Day weekend at Town Center Park with a free concert by the Continental Dance Orchestra that honors those who serve and have served in the United States military, also see the Silver Wings parachute team as the “drop in”.
VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION

A ceremony leading up to the unveiling of the city’s Veterans Memorial will begin at 4 p.m. May 24. The ceremony will feature live entertainment, military vehicles and artifacts from the Gwinnett Veterans Council War Memorial Museum.
From 4 to 6 p.m. 60s band Soul Purpose will perform followed by the Paris Dancers. At 7:30 p.m. the dedication will begin with guest speakers to be named later. Between 8:15 and 8:30 p.m., the eternal flame, which will rest at the top of the memorial, will be lit.
