Mountain View Boys lose to Sequoyah
The Boy Bears will play for seventh place in the Deep South Classic
Mountain View fell to the undefeated Sequoyah 60-50 in the first round of the Deep South Classic at Brookwood High School in Snellville on Tuesday.
The Bears were led in scoring by seniors Troy Taylor and Drew Bollier, each with 18 points.
"We're a second year program," said Mountain View coach Bob Perryman. "We're still growing, still developing, and have a lot more work to do in order to improve and continue to pursue a competitive edge in our region," Coach Perryman said.

By participating in the Deep South Classic Mountain View hopes to gain experience against regional teams. "We'll benefit through this tournament. It's quality. Very well organized and the environment is great. It's going to help us reach our goals that we set [as a team] which is at least 500 or better" said Coach Perryman.
Mountain View will play in a game decide the 7th place winner at 12pm on Wednesday in the Gold gym.
