New Dine-In Theater To Open in Lawrenceville

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A full-service, dine-in movie theater is set to open in Lawrenceville.

Ovation Cinema Grill 11 will open its doors to the public on Friday, December 2.

The cinema is located at 1210 Scenic Highway, at the Snellville Exchange.

The complex will be running "preview days," during which recently released movies will be shown, through the following week. The Ovation's grand opening, when it will begin showing the newest, first-run movies, will be Thursday, December 8.

The complex will feature a full menu with more than 100 food and beverage selections.

Moviegoers will be able to order food and drinks from their recliner seats with the push of a button and get service in their seats up until the movie's final credits.

Ovation also will have a cocktail lounge with a full-service bar that will service craft beers including those from local breweries SweetWater Brewing Company, Red Brick Brewing Company, Eventide Brewing, Three Taverns Craft Brewery, Creature Comfort Brewing Company and Terrapin Beer Company.

It will feature reserved seating with luxury recliners and a "BigD" auditorium, featuring the premium large-screen format with a screen more than 70 feet wide and three stories tall.

"As we prepare to open our doors to the Snellville and Lawrenceville region, we look forward to welcoming the community at the movies during our preview days."

Special preview days will run from Friday, Dec. 2 through Tuesday, Dec. 6 featuring recently released films. All movies tickets purchased during the preview period are just $3. First-run films will commence with the grand opening on Thursday, December 8.
