Partnering With Parents to Build a Love of Learning
Celebrate with the Cheng family, the December Family of the Month

Kun and Yue are the proud parents of Grayson in our Preschool Pathways classroom. The Cheng family joined our Primrose Family two years ago when Grayson was an infant.
Kun and Yue met in Syracuse, New York when they were in graduate school. After Kun graduated, he moved to Berkeley, California to continue his work in academy. One year later Yue joined him and they got married in San Francisco. Soon after that they decided to move away from California. They drove across the country. Yue was in Virginia while Kun was in Tennessee. Fortunately, Kun received an offer in industry in Atlanta. Thus, they moved again and reunited in Georgia and finally had little Grayson.
Kun likes soccer and has played since high school and is still playing these days. Yue likes swimming and hand crafts, such as wood working (furniture). Grayson likes cars, trucks, mechanical things, and Paw Patrol.
The Chengs are working to help Grayson with his potty training and it must be on his mind. When driving home one day, Grayson noticed a white dot on the windshield. Yue explained that is was from a bird and Grayson got angry at the bird for going potty on his mommy’s car. He pointed to the sky and said, “Bird! Do not poop on mom’s car! Poop in the toilet!” They hope he takes his own advice and is potty trained soon!

The Cheng family shares their Primrose experience:
“Primrose School of Five Forks is fabulous. All the teachers and staff here are friendly and professional. They are there to help and answer your questions whenever you need. Grayson has grown up with Primrose School since the Infant class all the way to Preschool Pathways. We are always surprised by the new things that he learns every day at school. He has his little “boys group” and he has his best friends (both boys and girls :D). We are so happy to see every photo that the school sends us. Also, we are happy to learn and experience new things with Grayson through the school’s events. Best wishes to dear Primrose School at Five Forks!”
Congratulations to the Cheng Family!
